Bay window curtain poles are ideal for fitting curtains in otherwise awkward window positions, since they can be manipulated to the required unique shape of the bay window. This may also include L-shaped poles sweeping around corner windows or doorways.

Poles are available in 16mm and 22mm diameter high quality, thick wall tubular steel which provides a great balance of strength and weight compared to some materials.

Along with 2 colour finishes – Black Waxed or Light Burnished Steel – and 12 finial designs, this means you can choose a pole to suit your decor, the style of your curtains and the size of your bay window.

All poles are formed in-house to fit your window and provide a smooth curve for easy operation. We also have special brackets and rings to make drawing the curtains even easier. These are not flat packed kits with fiddly joining pieces like you often find in the stores – hand made, precision bends create a strong and well-fitting pole that allows a curtain to flow easily back and forth.

We cater for the most popular bay window shapes – square, round, and ones with different numbers of corners. However, it’s impossible to show every window design on our website.

WHAT SIZE BAY WINDOW CURTAIN POLE SHOULD I GET?

Our handmade Bay window curtain poles are made to measure so you can be sure they will fit precisely. We have 16mm or 22mm diameters of pole and the diameter you need depends on the thickness of your curtains. The 16mm pole is ideal for lighter curtains, generally unlined, anything heavier than this will usually require the thicker 22mm diameter pole but please ensure you consider the number of brackets carefully and also ensure the wall for fixing into is solid.

If the overall pole length is over 2metres your pole will be made in 2 parts for ease of shipping and fitting but a secure central spigot will create a seamless joint and usually a central supporting bracket will be required for longer lengths of pole.

Once you’ve established the colour and style of your bay window curtain pole, it’s time to measure up! To ensure you get that perfect fit to create your dream window dressing, you’ll now need to measure the space where the bay window pole will sit, above the window.

Our forged steel bay window curtain poles are made out of tubular and solid steel and can be supplied in a black waxed finish (semi matt black/Dark Grey) or a more contemporary light burnished steel (silver/grey).
