Video - Riveting the legs to a Mitre standard lamp (1:17)

Here's some blacksmithing action from the forge. This short video shows Simon riveting the curved legs to the solid ring base of our Mitre standard lamp. We hope you like the footwork as well as the handiwork!

Making the lamp involves heating and bending the metal strips to size and securing them together at the top with a ribbon of steel; finishing them off with scroll details. The Mitre design is based on the shape of the bishops hat - of course - and we make four sizes of lamp, two sizes of chandelier and a wall light in this range.
