Remarkable Renovation

In the early part of 2022, we were contacted by Channel 4 television. George Clarke (English architect, television presenter, lecturer and writer, best known for his work on the Channel 4 programmes The Home Show, The Restoration Man, George Clarke's Old House New Home, and George Clarke's Amazing Spaces) was filming series 2 of Remarkable Renovations and the family involved in repurposing this incredible property, a former village hall – were looking for a statement chandelier to hang in the main reception area.

Working with the interior designer for the project, we discussed a number of options from our range of handmade designer lighting and agreed upon a medium sized, 2-tier Hartcliff chandelier in Light Burnished Steel. The design being both contemporary and classic in shape allowing it to fit well within the home décor and providing a stunning centrepiece over the stairs.

The project was unique to us in the sense the schedule was controlled more by the film crews time constraints and if you watched the show, you’ll also know the family creating the home had a tight deadline to meet also. We are happy to say, we stuck to plan and whilst any handmade piece comes with a certain lead time, we delivered with time to spare. The homeowner, Stuart and his wife were both really pleased with the piece, and it fits into their scheme so well.
