Come & Visit The Penistone Show & Nigel Tyas At The Same Time

We have the famous annual Penistone Show right on our doorstep being held on Saturday 9th September 2023.

Alongside our own #happyblacksmith, Director Dan will be showcasing the work of a farrier and we've invited our Friend Simon Maillet - a sheffield based knifemaker - along to show how he turns wrought iron into incredible handmade chefs knives.

We plan to have some of our finished product on show at Penistone but if you wish to see more of the range, then visit our showroom just outside of Millhouse Green at Bullhouse Mill (near Penistone). Our Showroom opening hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:30.

If possible, please call ahead on 01226 766618 or email sales@nigeltyas.co.uk, so that we know when to expect you, and can give you our best attention. Saturday mornings are available by appointment only. We can promise you it would be well worth it!

We welcome visitors to our showroom located right next door to the workshop - you will find a wide selection of our lights and lamps, chandeliers, curtain poles, fire irons and homeware on display. We're proud of our work and appreciate that it can be really useful to see our products up-close and ‘in the metal’ before making your purchase.

You can talk to our customer service team in person in our showroom. We're happy to discuss design options and sizes and answer any questions you may have about choosing and fitting your Nigel Tyas products. Plus, whilst visiting the showroom you may even meet the blacksmith who makes your new piece of hand-forged ironwork! You’ll certainly be able to hear them at work in the forge. Our visit the showroom page is here https://www.nigeltyas.co.uk/nigel-tyas-showroom.html with full contact details.

In respect to the Penistone Show this should be another fantastic show in 2023, with something for every member of the family. This is the 150th annual agricultural show, celebrating farming, food and agriculture. This year’s show is once again going to be brimming with entertainment, competitions, information and activities. There is a huge array of livestock competitions, farm machinery, food demonstrations, handicraft, homecraft and horticulture competitions, craft stalls, music, bars, vintage vehicles, rural crafts, dog show, food stalls and trade stands. It’s a big day out!

Plus you can eat some scrumptious delights from the local makers. There is the option to buy lunch or afternoon tea in advance of show day. These completely sold out last year and we are expecting the same this year. The show is open from 8am and will close at 6pm. The organisers are anticipating a very busy day again and so we would advise buying tickets in advance.
