* The drop is the measurement from the ceiling to the bottom of pendant. The minimum drop is when the pendant is attached directly to the Ceiling Rose with no additional chain.

A classic wrought iron chandelier, hand-forged in Suffolk

The Midhope 3-light is a beautiful example of the traditional ironwork for which the Nigel Tyas name has become known. Three scroll-topped candle holders are set around a hand-forged iron hoop, creating a balanced design with plenty of presence without overwhelming the room.

Every Midhope is individually forged by skilled blacksmiths in our Suffolk forge. Traditional techniques leave subtle variations and natural marks in the iron, giving each chandelier the character that comes from genuine hand craftsmanship.

The design has its roots in historic British ironwork, but it’s simple, architectural form works just as well in a period property as it does in a more contemporary interior. It is particularly suited to dining rooms, entrance halls, bedrooms and living spaces where warm, atmospheric lighting is wanted.

The Midhope can be supplied with ivory candle tubes or tubes finished to match the ironwork, and optional parchment shades can be added to soften the light and create an even warmer glow.

For a larger statement, the Midhope is also available in six and very large versions.
