Easter feels like a natural moment for a fresh start, not in a big, dramatic way, but in the quieter, more meaningful sense.
For us, it’s also a new beginning as our first phase of lighting goes live. Nothing grand, just a simple space to share heritage craft skills and some beautiful lighting.
Today, we’re keeping things simple. We’re heading out into our garden and later into the countryside, taking in the fresh air, and appreciating the beauty that’s right on our doorstep. It’s something we’ve always loved, and today feels like a good day to slow down and enjoy it. In truth I did not see the sunrise (main image) but I do see lots of sunsets and this is something always to stop and stare at. The sunset (last image) was taken in our village.
Sometimes a fresh start can be as simple as that, maybe for me getting up earlier but also noticing what’s already good, and making a little space to appreciate it.
Wishing you a peaceful Easter.
