Thanks to Period Living magazine for featuring our Bretton pendant at the centre of an informative article about choosing the right lighting for your home.
The feature discusses the three main functions of light in a well-planned and well-loved interior. Well-chosen attractive light fittings provide ambient lighting, in other words the overall level and mood of lighting to suit the style, mood and purpose of the room. Task lighting obviously provides the perfect functional light you need to read or work or cook. And, accent lighting direct shafts of light towards certain architectural features or areas of the room to add interest and dimension to an interior. All in all, lighting is the vital intangible ingredient to a great interior.
