When Nigel Tyas and Elizabeth Stoker founded the business in 2004, their vision was clear: create elegant, hand-forged ironwork that can be passed down through generations. Over the years, Nigel Tyas became known for its ethos of “forged for life, built to endure”, reflecting a commitment to both durability and aesthetic authenticity.
In September 2025, the company entered a new chapter: relocating its workshop from Yorkshire to Suffolk and partnering with Made by the Forge, local blacksmiths who share the same philosophy of British craftsmanship.
