Remarkable Renovations

We love seeing a plan come together. Being involved with a major project and assisting a customer in decisions surrounding handmade ironwork and interior lighting is always a pleasure so when we were contacted by one of the team at Channel 4 to see if we could assist with a TV show to do just this, how could we refuse.  Mr George Clarke is synonymous with fantastic design and build projects and this former school conversion in Northamptonshire was up there with one of the best.

The show aired earlier this month and is still available on catch up should you wish to see this inspiring home build. We love the story telling behind the scenes and seeing an old property so well preserved as a family home is testament to Stuart and his family who own it. I had the pleasure of meeting them on site back in June when we delivered the centrepiece Light Burnished Hartcliff chandelier that is displayed in their main entrance/mezzanine – hope you agree it looks stunning and compliments the room really well.

The Hartcliff chandelier is such an adaptable product – available in multiple sizes and the design works in both contemporary and period interiors, creating a real focal point. As ever, all our chandeliers are handmade just for you and you have choice of finish and size to tailor to your room.  Our team here at the forge are always on hand to help with information and advice should you be interested in our chandelier range and we welcome visitors at the showroom where we have a range on display.
