Our handmade wrought iron wall lights transform a room.

We design and manufacture an outstanding range of indoor wall lighting that's perfect for both traditional and contemporary settings. All are designed by Nigel Tyas and supplied handmade to order from our Yorkshire workshop to locations around the world . . .

Each wrought iron wall light is manufactured to the highest standards using quality materials specially selected to blend with both traditional and contemporary surroundings and complying with all relevant safety standards.

Our ever popular range of classic wall lights : 'Swaine', 'Emley', 'Dunford', 'Winscar' and 'Fleur de Lys' are shown below as double flush fitting wall lights with traditional dish and candle tube fittings. Each is also available as a single light version and can be supplied with candle shades if required. You can choose either of our surface finishes with quality metal candle tubes to match the finish or in traditional ivory. As an alternative each design can be adapted to take glass shades in a range of designs. You can even choose to have the shades pointing upwards or downwards!

We have recently added a selection of picture lights to our wall lighting range. These can be made with any of our standard backplates.

Our first wall light design and still one of the most popular! A classic elegant design featuring the beautiful handforged scroll and fishtail.

Our 'Emley' light is very similar to the 'Swaine' but with a squarer backplate and more boxy shape.

Technical information for installation of our wrought iron wall lights -

* All dimensions shown are for light fitting without shades - final overall dimensions will depend on the shade chosen - please contact us if more information is required.

Our wrought iron wall lights are supplied without shades or bulbs as standard. We have a beautiful range of pure silk candle shades and parchment candle shades . . . click here for our range of silk candle shades..

Each wall light incorporates a handforged iron backplate suitable for fixing flush to all types of wall surface.

All of our wrought iron wall lights are rated to take 60w bulbs when used without a shade. As with all wall lights, if candle shades are used you must observe the shade rating.

All designs are manufactured to take a small screw fitting bulb (SES) when used with a dish and candle tube. They are suitable for use with standard bulbs or low energy bulbs. We can supply low energy bulbs with a SES fitting in three different sizes - 7w, 9w and 11w which are equivalent to 35w, 45w and 60w in standard bulbs. Please contact us for more information.

When fitted with glass shades our wall lights are manufactured to take a standard bayonet fitting bulb (B22). All picture lights are supplied with a bulb.
