When we set out to design a range of wrought iron chandeliers, our aim was to produce something different from the mass produced, over ornate designs that are commonly available. We felt that there was a need for something beautifully crafted using the highest quality materials, that would be timeless in it's design and could fit into both a traditional and contemporary setting.

Our aim was to produce a stunning visual centrepiece . . .

Over recent years our wrought iron chandeliers have been used in farmhouses, manor houses with vaulted ceilings, castles, hotels and modern apartments both in the UK and in Europe. The feedback that we get from our customers tells us that we are doing things right!

We have three main designs in our range and all of these are available in different sizes. The elegant 'Hartcliff' design can range from a small 3 light version to an 18 light design of 1500mm in diameter.

For a very traditional look the 'Midhope' and 'Shepherds crook' designs come in a range of sizes with beautiful handforged hooks and fixings. The 'Midhope' chandelier matches our 'Midhope' range of bracket wall lights.

Each piece is made to order to the highest standards using quality materials and complying with all relevant safety standards. Wherever possible all cabling is concealed from view.

We really appreciate that one of the hardest decisions is choosing the correct dimensions for your chandelier. When you place your order we will talk to you in detail about the sizes that you need. The overall height of the chandelier can be adjusted with chain or with a fixed tube which conceals the cabling. A beautiful forged ceiling rose is also supplied and this can be made to measure depending on the type of ceiling that you are fixing to.

Equally at home in a traditional or contemporary setting, the 'Hartcliff' chandelier is our most elegant design. Each chandelier is handmade to order so that is will fit your requirements perfectly.

The price of the chandelier will depend on the overall size, the number of light fittings and whether you choose to have the light fittings on one or two tiers. This design is often complemented with iron wall lights from the 'Swaine', 'Emley', 'Dunford' and 'Winscar' ranges.

The 'Hartcliff' chandeliers shown have a traditional dish and candle tube. You can choose from burnished steel, light burnished steel or matt black finishes with a choice of quality metal candle tubes to match the finish or in traditional ivory. As an alternative, all can be adapted to take handblown glass shades in a range of colours. Technical information for installation of our wrought iron chandeliers -

All of our wrought iron chandeliers are rated to take 40w bulbs as standard when used without shades. As with all lighting, if candle shades are used you must observe the shade rating.

All designs are manufactured to take a small bayonet fitting bulb (B15). They are suitable for use with standard bulbs or low energy bulbs. We can supply low energy bulbs with a B15 fitting in three different sizes - 7w, 9w and 11w which are equivalent to 35w, 45w and 60w in standard bulbs. These are all priced at £4.75 each.

When fitted with glass shades, the 'Hartcliff' chandeliers are manufactured to take a standard bayonet fitting bulb (B22).
