A delightful yet practical reminder of days
gone by, our mechanical doorbells are perfect for period properties.
The solid brass bell is individually cast in Sheffield
- a replica of an original Yorkshire shop bell. The backplate
is crafted by a local cabinetmaker in solid oak, and the mechanism
is forged by our own blacksmiths.
Available in a range of designs, the bell handle
mounts directly onto the outside of your house. All exterior
parts are powder coated for added durability. The wooden backplate
measures 152 mm square and is available in oak, ash or cherry
wood.
The doorbell is simple to install and comes complete with all
fittings and fixing instructions.

If you already have an existing bell mechanism
we can supply individual parts and are happy to make made to
measure parts to suit the existing fittings.
